Yosakoi London Temuzu will once again be hosting a Yosakoi workshop at the J-Culture stage at different times throughout the day. Come watch us perform and have a chance to learn some Yosakoi yourself taught by our very own members.

The Manchester Japanese Festival, an event celebrating both traditional and modern Japanese culture. Throughout the day, there will be talks, demonstrations, parades and other events showcasing manga, anime, fashion, martial arts, film, music, games and other aspects of Japanese culture, past and present, as well as retail stalls and artist stands. Hot and cold Japanese food will also be available. This year Doki Doki - The Manchester Japanese Festival 2019 is proud to be an Official Event of the Japan-UK Season of Culture 2019-2020.

Japanese Garden Community Picnic

Bring your family, friends and your own supplies for a picnic under a tree or on the grass field and enjoy live music and performances. You can participate in a treasure trail, learn to write haiku or try your hand at folding origami animals or at writing your name in Japanese. Or just idly enjoy your food and drinks admiring the Japanese garden and (hopefully!) the nice spring weather.

The Crabbie’s National Rugby Awards recognises all those that contribute in so many ways to the great game of rugby in England. Yosakoi London have been asked to perform at the awards to promote Japan in preparation for the 2020 Rugby World Cup hosted in Japan.
